Halloween 2009

Once again months have passed since updating the blog. Since the last blog school has begun and the Chiles family is in full swing. Recently, Halloween was a blast. We had friends over for pizza and then we all braved the rainy night to trick-or-treat in our neighborhood.

Vacation in VA

In July we went to Sandbridge beach in VA (Henry often asked where the bridge was) and had a great time swimming, playing and eating lots of corn!

Sometimes all that fun made us a little sleepy.

We love lettuce!

We grew a little lettuce in a planter and the kids loved to pick it and eat it. Love those greens!

Amusement park madness

We recently went to an amusement park on the boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ. The mini- rollercoaster was a huge hit! Henry also loved the bumper cars even though he mostly bumped the walls.

The Chiles family beach trip

We went to Ocean City, NJ for the Memorial Day weekend and had a blast. We played on the beach, strolled on the boardwalk and ate lots of fried food. Anna and Henry loved watching the waves roll in and building all sorts of sand castles.

Easter in Virginia

Once again, it has been a long time since we've entered anything on the blog. Here are some pictures of Easter fun before Anna got croup and Maggie slid down the stairs while escorting Anna to her Easter photo shoot. All in all though, it was a fun Easter weekend with Grandpa and Grandma!

Anna's second birthday

Well, Thursday is the official day, but we had her party last week. There was lots of singing (thanks to our friend Lela) and playing and of course chocolate cake (yum).

Henry's birthday

Henry celebrated his fourth birthday superhero style and then had fun with his dadda making a volcano simulation at our dining room table. The next day Anna and Henry went to the dark side and tried to defeat superman (or maybe just give him a big hug)

Chiles Family Fun

It's been a long time since we posted anything. Since our last post we've had a couple of fun days in the snow, two birthday parties and of course some "rascalling" (as Henry terms Anna's behavior sometimes)
